Texas TOPP

Transition to Organic Partnership Program

We support transition and current organic producers in Texas with resources and mentorship.

As part of USDA’s Organic Transition Initiative, Texas TOPP is a five-year partnership program to effectively mentor, train, and advise farmers who want to transition to certified organic production.

Texas A&M AgriLife Organic is serving as the state lead for TOPP in the South/Southwest region to support farmers across Texas with farmer-to-farmer mentorship, community building, technical assistance, and workforce development.

Our goal of Texas TOPP is for you to create a community you can go to when times get tough. Or even if you have the smallest question you feel comfortable to come to us!
Technical Assistance
TOPP has and will continue
offer field days, educational
resources, and webinars across the state to provide, technical assistance to our farmers.
Workforce Development
Texas TOPP is working with several colleges and
companies in Texas to train
to target the workforce
development pillar.
